(Wii U Version)

New character confirmed! Pikmin & Olimar returns from Brawl!

Best Update Yet!

And for those of you worried about spoilers, I will simply say that A Smashing Look does not care about spoilers, so avoid this site if you do not wish to know further.

Not much to say about this one. Once again, it's nothing that we didn't already know.

July 10th Screenshot

(Wii U Version)

Yes, I know I'm posting this later than usual. The thing is, I haven't had access to a computer all day.

I did check the official website during the wee hours of the morning, but this screenshot wasn't up there, even when it should have been up for approximately two hours!

I guess Nintendo sometimes runs late too. ^_^

In Smash-related news, I have discovered a wide array of info about the games that I missed previously, that wasn't on the official website. Interviews and the like.

I'm thinking of compiling these all into one post, probably over the weekend, where the official site doesn't update, so look forward to that.

A new Mario stage with a similar feel to Mushroomy Kingdom from Brawl, from the looks of it.

This shows us that two objects can overlap with each other, like in Brawl, so they aren't using the same physics engine that they used in Melee or Smash 64.

(3DS Version)

Looks like the Stadium stage that we've been seeing will change form like the Pokémon Stadium stages from Melee and Brawl have.

What other changes will this stage entail? Let's hope that we find out soon!

Also, it's nice to see a 3DS screenshot once in a while.

On a more personal note, while I typically post these screenshots six hours after the Smash Bros. website, this time it was a whopping twenty-one hours. Seeing as how the image is forever lost if I fail to update after twenty-four, I am fearful for the future. I came dangerously close to losing this one. I'm scared that I may not be able to maintain this website.

If someone out there knows of another fan who is archiving the screenshots, please let me know, so that I can take them and post analyses about them without a time limit. It would be very helpful.

July 3rd Screenshot

(Wii U Version)

Once again, an eventless picture. We do see more of the ground in the Wily Castle stage, for what that's worth.

Which isn't much.

Ah, the three newcomers! Gaze at them as they...

...just stand there doing nothing.

There are times when I think that these screenshots were meant to troll us.

July 1st Screenshot

(Wii U Version)

Well, after a weekend of no updates, this update is probably the biggest one yet!

The Yellow Devil, previously seen in the "Mega Man Joins The Battle" trailer, is actually going to be featured in the game! It wasn't just for cinematic purposes!

When I first saw it, I assumed that it would be a boss fight, in the new Adventure Mode, whatever they replace Subspace Emissary with. Now, though, it looks like he's actually going to be a stage obstacle.

Whether or not you'll be able to attack him still has yet to be seen. How he attacks you, if at all, still has yet to be seen.

And what exactly is Kirby doing in this screenshot?

It seems that the Smash Bros. website likes to frustratingly provide more questions than it does answers.
